I tried to find her, I really did. I tried to look for her face, the one full of hope and wonder. I tried to find her, I really did. She had so much faith in the world, in everyone. She believed that a tiny man in green would be waiting for her with gold coins on the other side of the rainbow. Most importantly, she believed in me. So a few years back I went to look for her. I went to where I used to see her everyday. She wasn’t there. And she never returned. I tried to find her, I really did. But I guess I have to accept the cold hard fact that mirrors are liars. They seem to show you things that stretch out in front of you, but when you reach out, your hand simply hits a cold, hard surface. Believe me, I really tried to find her.
